Real Madrid meanwhile finished second in Group B behind Chelsea, with four wins in six, their only defeats coming against the Blues.
Holders Barca are aiming to win the competition for a third successive year and have been handed a relatively kind draw against German side Wolfsburg.
Los Blancos however, have drawn an in-form Arsenal side, which promises to be an exciting encounter over the two legs.
