The records keep tumbling for the all-conquering Putellas

She is now Barcelona Femeni’s all-time top goal scorer in Liga F.

A goal from a penalty off the bench to wrap up a routine 2-0 win against Levante as Barca edged four points clear of Real Madrid in the title race may not seem that significant a moment in the glittering career of Alexia Putellas, but it helped her break another record.

The former two-time Ballon d’Or winner is now the club’s all-time leading goal scorer in Liga F.

The penalty was her 149th goal in the league, helping her surpass her close friend and former teammate Jenni Hermoso to add to the number of milestones she has already reached this year.
