Spain find out group stage opponents at 2024 Olympics

The World Champions are playing in the Olympics for the first time.

Just a few weeks after finding out who they will face in their Euro 2025 qualifying group, Spain have discovered their opponents for the group stage of the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

And whilst for Euro qualifying they have had just over a month to prepare for their first two games against Belgium and Czechia, they have four months to get ready for the Olympics group stage, which starts on the 24th July.

Games will be played in Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice and Saint- Etienne, with the final to be hosted at the Parc des Princes on 10 August.

Just like in Euro qualifying, where the world champions were handed a favourable draw on paper, Spain have again managed to avoid some of the big hitters.
