World Cup champions Spain come into their Nations League double-header against Portugal with a point to prove following defeat to England last time out.
The Lionesses were more aggressive and more clinical than Montse Tome’s side and marshalled Spain’s attacking talent well as they got revenge for the World Cup final defeat.
Those are areas to address in this international break where anything less than two wins will leave the holders in danger of not progressing past the group stage of the competition.
