EAFC’s LaLiga Team of the Season: Who made it and who missed out?

The popular video game has finally released its best LaLiga squad.

EAFC, the most popular football video game and LaLiga’s naming sponsor, releases a team of the season every year for each of its licensed leagues, usually putting the decisions for the most popular divisions up to a public vote. This year was no different, with the game formerly known as FIFA relying upon the fans for their best LaLiga squad.

There is always a starting XI selected, with a number of lower-rated substitution options accompanying the main lineup. Additionally, EA release a few players that created the season’s best moments (Memoties), and a series of ‘honorable mentions’ who didn’t make the squad at all. In this article, we will assess the chosen squad, and who narrowly missed out.
