Can Mallorca shock holders Real Madrid in the Supercopa de España?
Holders Real Madrid and Mallorca face off in Jeddah tonight in the Supercopa de España semi-final.
The second Supercopa de España semi-final is upon us as holders Real Madrid face Mallorca at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia this evening.
Last year’s LaLiga and Supercopa winners will take on the Copa del Rey runners-up as both sides aim to book their place in Sunday’s final against Barcelona after they over came Athletic Club, and lift the first trophy of the domestic season.
The odds are stacked firmly in the champions Real Madrid’s favour, they have won 28 of the 47 meetings between the two sides, with 10 ending in draws and Mallorca winning nine.
Mallorca however, will take confidence from the league game earlier in the season, when they held Los Blancos to a 1-1 draw at home
