Anaylsing Barcelona's Women's Champions League group stage opponents

The current holders are in Group A with Benfica, Eintracht Frankfurt and Rosengard

After a blistering start to the Liga F season, which sees Barcelona sit top of the table with maximum points from their first seven games ahead of today’s fixture against Villarreal, attention will soon turn to their Champions League exploits.

The current holders have been handed, on paper at least, a kind enough group, but given the shocks which have already occurred in qualifying for this year’s tournament, they will be wary of falling victim to another upset.
